GRASSROOTS sport in Pewsey is set to benefit from a cash injection after Pewsey Vale Youth FC was awarded a grant of £1200 by the Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund to buy portable floodlights at their training ground on Wilcot Road.
Daniel Flach, chair of Pewsey Vale Youth FC, said: “The floodlights mean that our coaches can continue to deliver their coaching sessions any time of the day, all year round, improving those in the local communities and surrounding village’s access to Grassroots football.”
Paul Thorogood, chief executive of the Football Foundation, said: “Congratulations should go to Pewsey Vale Youth FC for working with the Wiltshire FA to secure this Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund grant.”
