THOUSANDS of people flooded the streets of Pewsey to watch the carnival procession make its way through the village.
Participants gathered in the carnival field in Milton Road on Saturday (September 17), dressed up in their colourful costumes, all preparing themselves for the march through Pewsey. With 18 floats entering, not including the vast amount of walking floats, organisers confirmed an increase of teams from last year.
With floats based on Alice in Wonderland to Star Wars, Route 66 to ladies' racing night, imagination and craftsmanship weren't in short supply.
As the entries made their way down the streets, spirits were high all round with people dancing along and singing, soaking up the carnival atmosphere.
