A SECOND youngster has been attacked by a dog in Pewsey.
The 14-year-old suffered a puncture wound after a black dog, described as black long-legged terrier, ran out of a garden in Wilcot Road and bit him on the ankle on Friday at 9.30pm.
Police are looking into whether it was the same dog which bit an 11-year-old boy last week as walked in Wilcot Road to school.
The dog ran out of a garden and sunk its teeth into the boy’s leg just before 9am on Tuesday, February 23.
The youngster was on his scooter at the time and did not require medical treatment.
Police investigations continue and the dog is described as black, medium sized with a white flash on his front. The breed is unknown.
An 18-year-old woman was also approached by a dog being walked off the lead at Bedwyn Common and was bitten on Wednesday, February 17.
The dog has been described as being large, dark brown, slightly bigger than a Labrador and was being walked by a white woman, aged around 45, with long brown hair who was some distance away from the dog.
Anyone with information on either incidents should call police on 101.
