THERE was a tight squeeze for one driver in Marlborough High Street at the weekend after being sandwiched between two cars.

The white car, displaying a blue disabled badge, was parked near Sea Salt in one of the 30 minute bays just before midday at Saturday.

However, a Volvo and an Audi were parked so close to it, it would have taken great skill to manoeuvre out.

Resident Grant Waller was so in shock he captured the scene on his camera and took to Facebook, where other residents were equally unimpressed.

Mr Waller said: “Really feel sorry for this disabled driver completely blocked in!”

Someone else said: “Funnily enough I have just walked past that. The Audi behind was absolutely totally blocked in by a Volvo that behind that.”

Another added: “Just goes to show how many inconsiderate drivers are out there, that’s disgraceful.”

According to the Highway Code, drivers should not “stop too close to a vehicle displaying a Blue Badge: remember, the occupant may need more room to get in or out”.
