Music lovers, and those who just fancied a day out with a difference, flocked to Cooper's Field in Pewsey on Saturday (8th August) for the eighth annual Pewsey Music Festival.

Organiser Liz Boden said: "It was an amazing day with a fantastic crowd. Everyone seemed to have a great time and those I chatted to from further afield said they'd be bringing their families and friends next year."

Punter Andy Brennan said: "It was a really chilled, friendly, family-oriented day with a proper festival feel. I will definitely be coming back next year."

As usual the festival crammed in an eclectic mix of acts with a stream of music throughout the day, on two stages, ranging from folk to prog rock, trance to Americana.

Yes tribute act Fragile brought drama and showmanship to the sunny afternoon with the sensational sound of 1970s rock. And The Showhawk Duo wowed the crowd with a mega sound you would not expect from two guys with acoustic guitars, ending spectacularly with Bohemian Rhapsody, and the audience doing the singing.

The evening had a stadium style finish with classic-rock four-piece Invisible Vegas followed by the Jon Amor Band featuring Pete Gage, of Dr Feelgood, on keyboards.

Next year's Pewsey Music Festival will be on Saturday 6th August.
