THE glitz and glamour came to Pewsey Vale School, as Year 11 students said goodbye to friends and teachers at their farewell prom.

Even though it rained during the student’s arrivals, the wet weather didn’t dampen their spirits and their smiles were beaming.

There were many spectacular entrances, with students arriving on tractors, in sports cars, an entourage of motorbikes and even Scooby Doo’s Mystery Machine.

The school hall was decorated in a stunning 1920’s theme and the evening was kicked off with a fantastic performance by Ireland’s biggest new boy band Hometown, who performed a fantastic set, including their new Irish number 1 song, ‘Where I Belong’.

The students were then entertained by a fantastic DJ and were able to play on the casino style games or have their photos taken by a professional photographer.

Mrs Collins-Talbot organised the most delectable ‘bite sized’ selection of food as well as producing beautifully crafted desserts.

Mrs Grant, Head Teacher, said: "It was a wonderful evening. Our students looked so glamorous and grown up. We are already missing them in school, but I know they have exciting future plans and we look forward to following their on-going success."
