THERE was an unusual sight in a field near Burbage yesterday afternoon when an RAF Puma made a precautionary landing and shutdown.
The Puma Mk2 helicopter from RAF Benson in Oxfordshire landed shortly before noon because of potential technical issues.
An inspection of the aircraft was made by RAF engineers and after this was carried out the helicopter was flown back to RAF Benson.
