PEWSEY makeup artist Marie Kelly is hoping to prove she is fairest of them all after earning a spot in the finals of the annual English Hair and Beauty Awards.
Thousands of nominations flooded in from across the country and Ms Kelly’s company Beauty Call has been shortlisted for the Makeup Specialist of the Year.
This is the second year in a row that the company has been nominated and they will find out if they win at the finals being held in Manchester on March29.
Ms Kelly said: “I still can’t believe it. I feel very honoured to have been nominated and to be a finalist for a second year in a row is amazing.
“I really do appreciate all my clients, peers followers that have voted for me it means so much and more so that this award is based on votes from my clients.
“I love my job as a makeup artist and really it is more of a passion.
"If I do win it really would feel incredible but for now I am grateful I am a finalist and looking forward to a glamorous evening so until then everything is crossed.”
