Waitrose in Marlborough is teaming up with The Trussell Trust to raise Christmas cheer through shopper’s festive donations.
Throughout the festive season Waitrose customers in Marlborough will have the opportunity to help vulnerable people by donating items from the Christmas list to food collection points in the High Street store.
The initiative follows the success of collections held in other Waitrose stores last year and will see the introduction of a year-round food donation point.
As well as essentials, the list will feature seasonal items such as selection boxes, Christmas crackers and mince pies.
Branch manager Nicola Evans said: “Our food banks do an incredible job helping those who need it most.”
