Couples inspired by the moves of the Strictly Come Dancing stars have the chance to learn the waltz, rumba and cha-cha for themselves thanks to a new Ballroom and Latin American class launching in the town.
In spring 2013 Amanda Gibson started a dance class after aspiring dancers in Marlborough made a plea in the Gazette for a teacher to come forward. The Friday night classes have proved such a success that Ms Gibson is now holding a second class on Tuesdays.
She said: “I’m doing really well with them and they’ve been really popular. Everyone loves the class, it’s very rare that people drop out. I have couples coming of all ages from their late twenties to their sixties and seventies.”
Ms Gibson will be offering a six-week Argentine tango course at Wesley Hall. To book call 07882 882030 or email learntodance@mac.com
