Police in Marlborough now have the power of the pedal behind them having recently taken ownership of two pushbikes.
The aim of the bikes is to help officers make patrols around town and improve the community awareness of police in Marlborough.
The Marlborough Neighbourhood Policing Team have the two bikes on loan from the Pewsey team but Clare Wallace, who is now the sergeant for both stations, said that the two forces are going to share the equipment. Sgt Wallace and PC David Tippetts took the bikes on their first ride around Marlborough last Thursday.
