Members of Marlborough Golf Club handed a cheque for £449 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance after a successful Seniors Open.
The Seniors’ captain, Dave Ferris, chose the county’s air ambulance service as his charity of the year and the event had a record entry of 105 players.
He said: “This is the first year our Seniors Open has been sponsored by Dick Lovett BMW and, because of the increased prize money, we received a record number of entries.
“This, in turn, greatly helped my captain’s charity.”
