By Barry Leighton
MALMESBURY artist Carol Kibble is in all likelihood experiencing pangs of pain during her exhibition now running at the town hall.
The pieces currently on display can be bought at “greatly reduced prices.”
But she said: “It hurts me to part with some of these paintings, However, I need to before my house sinks under their weight.”
Carol divides her time between painting for exhibitions, painting commissions and teaching
Her preferred medium is pastels and she runs workshops and courses and also tutors on painting holidays as well as demonstrating to art groups.
The exhibition, at the John Bowen Gallery until Thursday, September 24 features her favourite subjects - British wildlife and portraiture, along with pieces produced after she recently acquired a taste for painting racing cyclists.
