LADIES who lunch have raised £400 for a centre in Devizes that helps young children with a wide range of learning and medical problems.
The Ladies Festival Luncheon of the Masonic Lux Lodge, which meets in Devizes, was held at the Conservative Club in February.
On Wednesday (28) members visited Devizes Opportunity Centre to present the cheque to staff and children. Sue Welling wife of the Les Welling the master of the lodge nominated the opportunity centre as her charity to benefit from the lunch.
The money was raised from ticket sales and a raffle.
