FORMER army couple Tanya and Alex Parks brought a bit of military fitness to a village fete when youngsters had the chance to try out an assault course.
There was also plenty of sporty action at All Cannings Primary, near Devizes on Saturday as the fete provided the setting for inter-schools football and netball competitions.
There were was also a bouncy castle, a beat the goalie contest and plenty of stalls and sideshows to keep all the family entertained.
The fete raised a total of £1,500 for the primary school and the village pre-school.
Mrs Parks said: "The obstacle course was very popular. The whole day was a big success."
