Headteacher Malcolm Irons was among ten members of staff at Devizes School who got a soaking on Friday all in the name of a good cause.
The teachers were pelted with wet sponges by more than 100 students who paid 50p each for the privilege. Others also supported the Comic Relief cause by watching the event.
Other staff members did their bit by selling cakes in the staff room. The school raised nearly £100.
