DOG lover Cenydd Owen brought a bit of cheer to the streets of Devizes when he and his Doberman Ozzy drew a crowd as he gave away roses.
Mr Owen, 41, a energy firm engineer from South Wales, lives in Melksham says he loves to make people happy.
He said: “It is fantastic to see a smile on people’s faces. Often I take Ozzy and my other Doberman Jake into old people’s homes.
“But I had spotted a florists was going to be throwing away a lot of roses so I asked if I could have them.
“I really like Devizes and I wanted to make people happy.”
But a few people were suspicious of his motives and refused the flowers.
He said: “I think some people thought I was trying to sell something but most people seemed to really like it.”
