YOUNGSTERS from Lavington School will put on their running shoes to support a Santa fun run in Devizes.
Money raised by the event on December 14, organised by the Bag4Sport Foundation charity, will go the chosen causes of town mayor Coun Sarah Bridewell.
People can choose to do either the 3.5k Red Nose Reindeer Route or the 2k Jingle Bell Route.
The run costs £5 to enter for individuals or £15 for a family of four. Every entrant will be given a free Santa Claus hat.
Entrants will meet in the Market Place at 9.30am.
Money raised with the run will be divided between the Bag4Sport Foundation and Coun Bridewell’s other chosen charities, the Devizes branch of the British Heart Foundation and the Devizes Food Bank.
Lavington School PE teacher Lisa Adams said: “The Santa fun run is a going to be a fantastic event for the local community; events like these inspire and encourage the community to get active and challenge themselves.”
