ENTRIES for this year’s Corsham in Bloom are now open for plant enthusiasts in the town to compete for best front and back garden.
Judging will start in July and applications forms can be picked up from the Town Hall or on the Corsham Town Council’s website to be returned by June 30.
There will also be awards for the best allotment plot, best flat or communal properties, best school and best club among others.
Winners will receive a trophy, with certificates awarded for the top three places as well at a presentation evening to be held in October at Corsham Town Hall. The winners in each category will then be entered in the main South West in Bloom competition.
Children can also get involved with the painting competition with the theme based on ‘a day in the park’. The age groups are: up to six years old, seven-11 and 12-16, which the closing date of July 6.
