A COMMUNITY choir which has taken children's charity Julia's House to its heart hopes a concert on Saturday (10) will raise more than £1,000.
Allsorts Community Choir from Chippenham will be holding a Music For A Winter's Night concert at St Andrew's Church in the Market Place, Chippenham at 7.30pm.
Margaret Dyke from the choir said: "Last year Allsorts Community Choir held a concert for Julia’s House Hospice and raised £1,000 and this year we are hoping to do even better to support this very worthwhile charity."
The choir has also released their first CD which is also being sold to support Julia's House which is creating a children's hospice in Devizes which is due to open in spring, 2017.
Tickets for the concert cost £8 and can be bought from Sarah Jayne’s Cafe in the Market Place, Noteworthy on Station Hill and Dolmans Furnishers in New Road.
The choir will be joined by local group End of the Track.
