THE stars are shining bright for one Chippenham entrepreneur after launching her new business, Twinkle Twinkle.
Jess Baker has opened the store, which specialises in toys and outfits for babies and toddlers, in the Emery Gate Shopping Centre.
“I have over eight years retail experience in Chippenham and saw a gap in the market and thought why not give it a go,” said the 28-year-old, who is a former pupil of Sheldon School.
“I get my entrepreneurial flair from my dad who has always encouraged me to be my own boss.
“Being in Emery Gate was important to me as it is the heart of shopping in the town.
“I’ve only been open for a short period and I am overwhelmed by the response already and want to say a big thanks to people of Chippenham, I hope it will be a big success.”
Phil Maclean, retail marketing manager for Emery Gate, said: “We are all so impressed with Jess, at such a young age to have the confidence to be her own boss is a great sign for Chippenham and its future.
“We hope that shoppers continue to support Twinkle Twinkle and help Jess along the way to be successful for years to come.”
