Chippenham sales coach Alison Edgar has been named as one of the UK’s top ten business advisers in the Top 50 Business Advisers Awards.
Alison runs Sales Coaching Solutions Ltd from her office in Laines Head, Chippenham, and offers business advice to early-stage entrepreneurs.
She was picked from hundreds of advisers in the UK for her work with start-ups and small businesses.
She said: “Taking advice in the earliest stages lays a solid foundation. Most small businesses have extensive knowledge of their product or service, but usually lack skills in other areas needed to run a successful business.”
Fledgling businesses were asked by small business network Enterprise Nation to nominate an adviser that had helped them grow.
Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, said: “These advisers are the unsung heroes behind Britain’s booming small business culture.”
