Sutton Benger Primary School is starting a rock choir club after children enjoyed the activity at its Whizz, Bang, Boom event.
Singing coach Phil Donovan conducted a workshop with the children last Wednesday and now the pupils want weekly lessons.
Head teacher Hayley Roberts said: “We had lots of creative activities going on and I’ve had some really positive feedback from parents.”
Wiltshire Scrapstore, an environmental charity that uses resources that would otherwise go to landfill for creative projects, also helped the children with art projects. The children made firework models and completed dance classes to Katy Perry’s hit Firework. There was also a picture competition with winner Finn Ramsey earning the honour of starting the Sutton Benger bonfire night celebrations.
