The CCTV image of the suspect
A thief swiped £80 from a cash machine when a woman withdrawing the money got sidetracked.
She took the cash out from Halifax on Market Place but was distracted by her partner and left the money in the machine.
When she returned the money had gone, but it was not taken back into the bank.
Police have checked CCTV and would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident, which happened on Tuesday July 1 at 10.30am.
PCSO Helen Bray said: “CCTV shows the man in the picture clearly looking around and taking the money.”
The man is asked to call Chippenham Police on 101.
