THESPIANS from Cherhill will take pantomime lovers to a galaxy far far away with this year’s performance of Jack and The Beanstalk crossed with Star Wars, May The Farce Be With You.
The pantomime follows Luke Warmwater and his robots to Nellies cottage and the Giant's house, as they watch out for the Super Troopers who malfunction whenever ABBA is played.
Director of this years performances, Alison Moore, said: "It has got all the traditional elements of a panto with a bit of sci-fi for the modern audience, with lots of singing, dancing and audience participation.
"The finishing touches are being put to the sets, props and costumes and the cast are slipping into character."
Performances will be tomorrow (Friday February 2) at 7.30pm, Saturday, February 3 at 2pm and 7.30pm, Friday, February 9 at 7.30pm, and Saturday, February 10 at 2pm and 7.30pm at the Village Hall.
