Police are appealing for the public's help in identifying a man they wish to speak to in connection with two incidents of fraud and attempted fraud in Calne.

The incidents took place between 1.30pm-2pm on Wednesday October 15 in Iceland Foods on Phelps Parade and in the BP garage in Calne.

A man used a forged £50 note to pay for a small amount of goods in Iceland.

A short time later, the man tried to use another forged £50 note in the BP garage but his attempted method of payment was denied.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact Alania Coles via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
