Strictly Come Dancing will return to our screens tonight (October 15) with its results show and there’ll be a guest performing.

During Strictly Come Dancing: The Results, there’s often a performance from a well-known musician and this week, viewers can look forward to Beverley Knight taking to the stage.

The singer and actress updated her Instagram followers with a short clip posted to her stories, telling them to tune into the programme at 7.15pm on BBC One.

For those who don’t know who Beverley Knight is or those who want to know more about her, look no further.

The singer and musical theatre star released her first album, The B-Funk, in 1995, which was heavily influenced by American soul music icons such as Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin.

In total, Knight has released eight studio albums and she is regarded as one of Britain’s greatest soul singers.

She is best known for her hit singles Greatest Day, Get Up! and Shoulda Woulda Coulda.

Knight has won three MOBO Awards and was awarded an MBE for services to British music and charity in 2006.

She is originally from Wolverhampton and recently performed at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Beverly starred as suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst in highly-anticipated musical Sylvia at The Old Vic theatre earlier this year.
