Officers from the Operation Herald team continued their activities in the Pewsey area on yesteday and uncovered more offences, which are directly linked to vehicles carrying scrap metal and other waste material.
A 33 year old Salisbury man has had his flat bed lorry and scrap metal load seized, as the vehicle was being used without insurance and additionally was in a dangerous condition.
He is also under investigation by the Environment Agency for carrying waste products without a carriers certificate.
This man was not arrested, but has been reported for summons, and will be appearing at Court in the near future.
Two further men are also being investigated by the Environment Agency for carrying waste without the relevant carriers certificate in force.
