HOT drinks and cake was served at Devizes School to raise money for Macmillan Cancer as sixth formers joined in the World's biggest coffee morning.
Headteacher Phil Bevan praised his pupils for raising £153.98 for the charity when they served home made cakes to other youngsters and staff.
They sold out in just 20 minutes and among those who managed to grab a slice of the action was Mr Bevan. He later tweeted: "I ate three cakes - and can vouch for the fact that they were indeed rather lovely. well done @Devizes6thForm - great ambassadors for @DevizesSchool."
The coffee morning was just one of a number of events organised by the school's sixth form ambassadors and senior students. Other good causes that have been helped include Children In Need, Comic Relief and Save the Children.
