Burglars walked into a house in Burton, near Castle Combe, and helped themselves to items while the owners were at home.
The thieves took a coral coloured Radley designer handbag and matching purse from the kitchen of a house in Burton Farm Close last Wednesday. They let themselves in through an unlocked side door between 5.15pm and 9pm.
The handbag is about one foot long with a handle and a curved bottom.
Inside was a driving licence, Bristol City Council ID card, debit card, Sainsbury’s card, a red and a grey A5 diary and a black hairbrush.
Anyone who saw any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area on the evening of September 17 is asked to call police on 101.
