Children at St Mary’s Under Fives enjoyed a fun-packed sports day and a slice of cake to celebrate the pre-school’s 50th anniversary.
The pre-school, based at St Mary’s Infant School, Marlborough, caters for children aged from two-and-a-half to five years old.
It held the fun day at Marlborough Town Football Club and organised several activities for the children, including an egg and spoon race and a relay race.
Around 35 children took part in the day, which was also an end of term celebration for those who are moving up from the pre-school to primary school. Pre-school manager Janet Dobson said it had been fun looking back at old pre-school pictures.
She said: “The heart of we do is much the same. We’re making the transition from children being at home with parents to being at school.”
