Thames Water has been announced as the main sponsor for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride.
This year’s event is being held on Saturday, August 9 in the Town Gardens, Swindon, and will be the seventh Pride event held for Swindon and Wiltshire.
Kevin Lennon, the Thames Water representative working with Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, said: “With so many of our employees living and working in Swindon, we’re really pleased to be involved in Pride.
"This year’s event looks to be bigger and better than ever and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Jo Sharpe, chair of Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, said: "As an organising committee we are very excited about this year’s event, with even more community support and involvement.
"To have corporate support from Thames Water as our principle supporter is wonderful news, showing a belief in the event and support for the LGBT community.”
This year sees the introduction of additional zones within the park, such as the Public Sector Zone supported by Wiltshire Council and Swindon Council, Sports Zone and tte Family Zone, which returns for the second year.
The Thames Water Main Stage will be feature diverse artists while the Stephen G Sloan Stage will host promising musicians.
