Police in Calne were called in to tow away a tractor, which was suspected of having no insurance.
Officers were dispatched to Newcroft Road at 2.30pm on Saturday 28, to investigate a complaint about the vehicle from a member of the public.
The Calne neighbourhood policing team, assisted by Sergeant Gavin Brewster of the roads policing unit, inspected the vehicle and found it had no insurance and the tractor was seized.
A 47-year-old man was reported for summons to court and the tractor will only be released after a fee is paid and suitable insurance presented.
The Newcroft Road area has been plagued by issues over parking in recent months.
PC Hans Monahan, of Calne Police, said: "Some neighbourhood issues require the additional assistance of our specialist units and this was an example of that co-operation and a successful result ensued.
“The feedback I have received from residents about this police action has been very positive.”
