Pupils at Stanton St Quintin Primary School were flashing their whitest smiles last week when they were awarded the Happy Teeth Award.
Reception and Year 1 pupils have spent the last two months working towards the Wiltshire Oral Health award.
Teacher Natalie Eels said: “We had a dentist role play area with a dentist’s chair, giant toothbrushes and sets of plastic teeth.”
The pupils practised brushing their teeth, learned about foods which are good for teeth and made a recipe book.
The pupils had learned so much they were even giving advice to the staff and had reassured a teaching asistant who was going to the dentist.
