Lime Kiln Leisure Centre, which was badly damaged by a fire in December, re-opened on Monday.
The sports hall, gym, squash court and dance studio were not directly damaged by the fire and were refurbished.
The re-instatement of the swimming pool will be considered as part of a wider community campus.
Lime Kiln is holding a re-opening day on Sunday from 10am to 5pm with free attractions.
