Pupils at St Francis School in Pewsey raised nearly £600 for Red Nose Day on March 18 by dressing up on the theme of monsters and pirates. On the theme of helping other children, pupils were told at a special assembly about Kibera, a slum in Kenya. Earlier in the week supply teacher Pauline Palmer had gone to Kibera for four weeks to help build a school.
St Francis already has a link with a school in Uganda.
