Drugs courier Denzil Stewart has been warned he faces jail after being caught with cocaine while on a suspended sentence.
The 36-year-old, of Waters Edge, Chippenham, was caught with the drugs in May last year.
Stewart said he had been to London to collect the 26.8 grams of cocaine for another dealer. He said he had planned to keep some of the consignment for himself but was not going to sell the rest, just hand it on to someone.
Stewart was put on an 11-month sentence suspended for two years in December 2009 after he admitted supplying crack cocaine.
Adjourning the case at Swindon crown court Judge John McNaught said “These drugs cases are quite serious so it may be a prison sentence.”
Stewart pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply. He also admitted possessing cannabis.
The judge released him on bail to April 27 when he is due to face sentence.
