Grants for sporting and leisure pursuits were approved by Devizes Area Board at its last meeting.
Bishops Cannings Cricket Club received £3,415 towards the purchase of two sight screens, a mobile practice net and the resurfacing of the worn artificial playing surface on the pitch.
The club is providing 50 per cent match funding from its reserves.
Devizes and District Twinning Association was awarded £500 for a marquee and toilets during the twinning weekend on The Green on May 22.
Marston Parish Council received £2,067 to refurbish the village bus shelter. The parish council is providing 50 per cent match funding.
