In last week’s edition in an article entitled ‘MoD gets tough’ you outlined the actions that the MoD was taking to discourage their staff from parking in Westwells Road in Neston.
In parallel Wiltshire Council is working to implement a cycle lane along Westwells together with parking restrictions on the side closest to the MoD site. These restrictions will be the subject of a public consultation and the normal due process.
The MoD and Wiltshire Council are taking this issue seriously and are working together to resolve the problem.
