Councillors have been criticised for a ‘secret’ meeting with Blue Sky which is planning a housing development at Park Road, Malmesbury.
Planning and environment chairman Ray Sanderson told town councillors on Tuesday that he had one meeting with the developers.
“We told them that Malmesbury people didn’t want any more development. It was very constructive and they went away fully aware of our views,” he told the committee.
But fellow town councillor Simon Killane said he was dismayed that the discussions had not been done through the Malmesbury Development Forum.
