A play and activity area in Pewsey which opens next Wednesday is to be known as Colin’s Corner after one of the village’s longest serving councillors, Colin Lampard.
Mr Lampard, 68, died of cancer in August 2009, having lived in Pewsey throughout his life.
His widow Jackie Lampard will unveil a name plaque on Wednesday at 10.30am it is hoped villagers will turn out in force to remember the man who did so much for Pewsey.
The play area is the first of three phases.
