Monsters were at their scariest at Southbroom Infants’ School, Devizes.
With mayor Coun Pete Smith attending, today’s mini-monster assembly climaxed activities celebrating National Book Week. “Everyone decided we would really go to town for book Week,” said Class 2 teacher Suzie House On Tuesday they dressed as their favourite story characters. Devizes librarian Wendy Beaver gave a talk about books and Year 6 pupils from the junior school came in to read to the youngest children.
