Families in the Pewsey Vale have a programme of varied musical entertainment to look forward to in the Bouverie Hall as part of the initiative Music Live Pewsey.

The aim is for the performances, given by professional musicians, to be entertaining and appealing to all tastes and ages, suitable for whole families to enjoy and reasonably priced.

The first concert is on February 25, at 7.30pm, featuring Bowjangles, billed as ‘the string quartet with a difference’ who will present an evening of dance, comedy and song. This group has performed in Covent Garden and on cruise ships.

March 10, at 7.30pm, sees the turn of the Hot Potato Syncopators, three eccentric but comic English gentlemen who entertain with ukulele, musical saw, tea chest bass and vocal harmonies.

The final musical evening is on May 20, at 7.30pm, when the music will be provided by top UK folk band Belshazzar’s Feast who will present traditional folk music with a touch of jazz, pop and music hall with much wry humour in between.

Tickets are available from Knitty Gritty and Head and Robins, priced at £6.50 for adults, concessions £5.50, children £3.50 or family tickets £16.
