Thank you for the article by Nigel Kerton and the obituary about my daughter Marilyn Day in the January 13 edition. It was very gratifying for me and the family to read of the appreciation of her life and work.
Naturally she has always been a beautiful and talented girl to me and now I know other people shared my feelings in some part.
May I, through your letters page, thank all the friends, neighbours and colleagues who attended the memorial service at St John the Baptist, Pewsey. It was truly comforting to see so many people there and know she will be remembered in Pewsey, a place she really loved.
