Ex-prisoners have been helping with improvements to Sherston Village Hall under the Community Payback Scheme.
They have been painting the outside as well as redecorating the small hall, lobby, and kitchen.
Work will be complete by the end of this month and the management committee hopes to have the helpers back later in the year to redecorate the main lobby and toilets.
