BASSETT recorded a third win on the trot to lift themselves off the foot of their cricket division.
The team, who began the campaign with five straight defeats, have somehow roused themselves from their early-season problems and are are now climbing the West of England Premier League.
Bassett produced a solid performance against Colwall despite the absence of last week's bowling hero Lee Ratcliffe.
They dismissed the visitors for 149, thanks to the efforts of Mike Cameron, who took three wickets.
They did just enough in reply, reaching their target with three wickets to spare.Captain Graham Poulton made 30, Neil Twine chipped in with 25 and Hendy Alleyne, who made a match-winning 67 not out in the previous match, continued his fine run of form with a solid 40.
