A CHIPPENHAM man who was crowned the King of Posing on a national television talk show says looking good is the most important thing in his life.

Elvis Gomez, 28, went before a studio audience for ITV's Trisha programme.

His flatmate Jason Spencer, 26, told him to ring in after he watched the show and saw a request being put out for posers to ring Trisha.

Mr Spencer said: I saw the show and I thought that could be Elvis.

He has photos of himself posing all over the house. He goes to the gym and dances in front of the mirrors and takes the mickey out of people, saying they'll never look as good as him.

Self-confessed poser Mr Gomez, who works with boys with emotional and behavioural problems at Lacock's Notton House School, says he only wants to be a role model for young people.

It's my thing in life to motivate kids. I try to get them off drugs and alcohol and into fitness, he said.

I don't think people really get annoyed with me.

He has already been asked to go back on the programme.

They've never had anyone like me. I don't think anyone's as bad as I am, he said.
