A SANDWICH board used to publicise fundraising events has been stolen.
Margaret Spackman, 59, of Mountpleasant, Chippenham, has been hosting fundraising activities at her home for more than 20 years and has raised thousands of pounds for charities, uses the board to let people know about events such as plant sales and coffee mornings.
She recently organised a plant sale which raised more than £1,500, but the following day her board had disappeared.
I think it is such a mean thing to do, she said.
I don't pay to advertise because I want as much money as possible to go to charity.
If anyone can help Mrs Spackman by donating or making a board, they should contact Jen Bishop at the Gazette on (01249) 654422.
