Town have been drawn away at Colchester United in the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy.
The match will be played at Layer Road on either Tuesday October 16 or Wednesday October 17.
Town will be hoping to repeat the good run they had in the competition last year when they reached the southern area semi-final, before losing 2-1 at Southend.
