A CAR being followed by police left the road on a sharp bend and ended up in a ditch on Saturday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened on the B3099 road, between Dilton Marsh and Standerwick at about 2.25pm.
The two men inside received minor injuries and were taken to the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
A Wiltshire police car and helicopter were following the red Ford Sierra after an incident in Woolworths, Warminster, where a television and video unit was allegedly stolen. Witnesses can call Crimestoppers, 0800 555 111.
